"The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. My complaint was that our room was not cleaned on one of the days even after I tipped the housekeeper. The next day I went to the front desk and they did call to get our room cleaned. But even then they only put clean towels and made the bed. No coffee or cups. "The initial room we were offered smelled strongly of mildew. We went back to the front desk and requested another room, which was provided, and when we opened that one it was exactly the same. We notified the front desk we were going to have to seek another hotel, and left. When we subsequently requested a refund through Expedia, the hotel declined saying that we had not let them know we were leaving. Do not recommend. "staff was great, property looked like possible reno or soft reno in progress (boxes in parking lot) tv didnt work at all, the wifi didn't work, the ac was a joke, only hot humid air came out which was not condusive for preparing for the event I was attending. AC and refrigerators don't work in most rooms which is because they don't care to fix up the place since they stay busy enough from desperate patrons. They are pathetic when they can charge over $150 for one night. Rooms were clean but that's it."
