"Our stay here was lovely, we had a beautiful suite with large windows overlooking the shopping street. Hotel is located in old town, very charming cobble stone streets. The staff was wonderful, always restocking fridge with waters. We forgot something in our hotel room and they were so kind to mail it to our US address. Very pleased and definitely recommend this hotel! "

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, l’hôtel est bien placé, simple d’accès, la chambre est propre et les lits très confortables, tout est présent sur place pour être autonome niveau nourriture (plaque, équipements, grille pain, bouilloire etc). Toutes les chambres n’ont pas la même vue donc faire attention à cela lors de la réservation. De plus le personnel est très agréable. "

"Place was great once I found it, google maps took me to an area around the corner. Was perfect for a quick overnight before heading to Geneva airport. 5 min walk to train, then short ride to airport. Keep in mind the front desk is only staffed until 9pm, which was close for me. I notified the hotel via messaging and didn’t hear back. It did end up working out. Place was clean and cozy, a bit outdated but that’s no biggie. No A/C so had to open the window. Lots of activity outside until late into...

"Overall decent place. I didn’t give 5 stars for 2 reasons: a property should really impress me to get 5 and the other reason being (I want to say there should be a housekeeping inspector of every room to be sure they are ready for the next guest). Example: the dishes, had they been inspected, would’ve been noticed that they were unclean. I shouldn’t have to wash the dishes before I can use it. I had to chase down a wine bottle opener. If inspection was made, that too would’ve been noticed...

"Es ist ein sehr schönes und saubers Hotel. Sehr neu. Alles sehr praktisch im Zimmer enthalten. Wie eine kleine Wohnung. Einzig ein eigenes Restaurant zum frühstücken fehlt.Im gleichem Häuserkomplex, hat es ein Restaurant. Es öffnet leider erst später am Morgen. "

"We had a fantastic stay for our family ski holiday. We've stayed in other places in Avoriaz in the past and the location of L'Amara is just spot on for children. Our appointment was directly above the ski locker which was straight out onto the run. We used the pool area a couple of times and although it was quite busy, it never felt crowded. The parking was convenient and easy to access the appartment from it. The appartment itself was actually surprisingly roomy for an avoriaz appartment....
