"The hotel was right in the centre of town and our room overlooked the Market Square and the church. Extremely comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Short stay parking was very close but it was a five minute walk to long stay parking. Building works going on on the front of the hotel at the time but that did not disturb us in any way"

"The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Best kept secret in the areas."

"The location across from the train station was ideal since we took the train to Bath. Also close to shops and sites. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious. No air conditioners so we were a bit warm "
