It’s a cosy place with scooter parking right in front of the property and a couple of good dining options around. Kudos to the staff (I think she’s also the owner) for notifying us that transport out of the island was cancelled due to typhoon on the day we planned to depart. That heads-up gave us time to change our ferry ticket to a day earlier."

Paps is a retired tuna captain and it appears his family runs the place. He’s always out front chewing betel nut and keeping an eye on his water. Does not get more local than this. At the beginning of the main strip with all the restaurants and shops. Plenty parking for scooters. Breakfast Nextdoor while staring at the dark blue water. It’s hauntingly memorable."
