"We had a weekend stay and it was very good! The hotel has a pub in the ground floor and they run several activities every weekend! Good option to meet new people. Note that this could mean some background noise very late at night, so if you are looking for a very quiet place to rest, this might not be for you. Our host Peter was very kind, attentive, and available to help us with anything we needed. The hotel is a short walking distance away from a bus station that can take you to the city...

"What a stunning building! And the surrounding grounds are gorgeous - it feels like such a quiet and idyllic bolthole retreat tucked away in the heart of Hope Valley. "Great service, very kind and friendly check in. The rooms are simple and you have to pay for the towels, but then again- the price of accommodation definitely justifies the payment for extras. Has a bar, open until 11pm. And it is genuinely all you need for a night stay. Also offers breakfast, full english for £9.99. And it is perfectly located for the Monsal Trail and ither walks."

"Brilliant property! Really clean, excellent checking in and service throughout our stay. Only downside is the information given for parking. We ended up paying £28 because it wasn’t explained to us that it was free after a certain time. Should have cost us £8. Private parking company so nothing reception could do."
