"On the morning of October 1st we were caught in a heavy downpour at Machu Picchu and ended up completely soaked. Even though we had already checked out, we went back to the Inkaterra front desk in the afternoon to ask for help. The two ladies and one gentleman who received us were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and very efficient. They quickly arranged access to the spa so we could take a hot shower, and the front desk kindly helped dry our coats and shoes. Thanks to their thoughtful...

"We had a lovely room with comfy beds and a great shower after our Inca Trail hike. The included dinner was good and the spa services were excellent. The staff was also very helpful holding our bags and delivering them to our room.. We also enjoyed walking around the area around the hotel and the market and it was only a block to walk to the train station."

"The views were incredible. The space was quiet and the staff friendly. The hotel is near the square and only a 5 minute walk from the market/train/bus stations, but far enough away from the most active places to be calming. Be mindful of the hike up to the hotel! If you can pack extra light, do so. I was lucky to meet a couple of young men to help carry my suitcase up the flights of stairs and the hotel host carried it down for me when I left."

"We had a great stay, location was perfect and walkable and quiet. Right in front of the river which sounded amazing. Great water pressure and warm shower. They had breakfast bright and early enough for our early tickets to Machu Picchu. Friendly staff. They also were able to hold our luggage while we waited for our afternoon train. "
