Place was run down, dirty. Outdated furniture. Waterpark was nice but broken waterslide. No microwave in rooms just one shared one in lobby. Laundry was broken. Staff was very unfriendly and would give you an attitude when you ask for help. I would not come back to this hotel.

The room was nice. Shower head had lots of grime on it. The water park water was so cold my kids couldn’t go in the water to enjoy it. 2 slides shut down and standing one in one pool that was not in use and closed

Price was reasonable. Room was a ok. Bed was comfortable. Room not serviced. We didn’t need it but would have liked to know in advance. Hot water in shower was tepid. Sink had plenty of hot water. No breakfast. Only coupons for a local buffet and specialty menu. Front desk folks were very nice.

From the outside, the Bridge Vista Beach Hotel and Conference center looked pretty good. Then, we went inside. Nothing is kept up, and if it has been it was done by do-it-yourselfers. The staff was friendly enough at arrival. We brought 3 boys with us, so we had to fill out these long pink waivers for the "waterpark". Upon entering our room, we noticed some things that were outdated and others that were updated like the sink in the bathroom was nice and black granite. The first child used the bathroom as normal and the toilet plugged up. We called the front desk and they told me to come get a plunger. Self maintenance is not really my thing when I spent over $200/night for a hotel room. The "waterpark" had 2 slides and both were out of commission with rank water in the receiving area. After noticing the condition of the steel supporting the slides all rusted out, I am thankful they were out of commission. Windows in the "waterpark" were covered with foam insulation, cracks in the pool were poorly patched, and the facility in general was outdated and not properly maintained. The spa was large and worked well however. There was an odd angel statue in a cove above the pool, perhaps needed to watch over those that chose to partake in the facility. I was not impressed with the Bridge Vista. In the future, I will choose elsewhere when we make the annual trip to Mackinaw City.
