Wonderful staff who provide every comfort and great hospitality. This is a typical American B&B in a magnificent building within 20 minutes walk of downtown Macon.

All the staff were very friendly, especially those on reception. Particularly imoressed by the free dinner when we arrived, with wine, and with the excellent service in the breakfast room. Food constantly replaced, tables cleaned promptly, and requests met.

Great hotel, converted from an old bank. Located near the heart of thevtown. Staff very friendly and helpful. WiFi access a little fiddly but otherwise great stay.

Booked this hotel because of the rating, and it was nice - but I had two complaints. First, the walls all looked like the walls of a subpar hotel. Patched places and creepy lines between the panels of wallpaper. So bizarre because everything else was beautiful. And two- no key drop box so I stood waiting to hand over my hotels keys for a good ten minutes while another hotel guest bought water bottles with cash (because the front desk person and the guest debated whether it was easier to charge...

The room had everything you needed. The quill was lovely. The only thing I’d mention similar to other reviews that it is self check in. So keep an eye on your phone. The parking space nearby was good and great that it’s included in the price. Again if downstairs you need to unpack in the alley but it doesn’t have much traffic and wasn’t a problem. The second floor in the parking garage was steep but the room was perfect and couldn’t fault the stay or experience we had! Really convenient, clean...
