"This place had 100+ problems. Overall a wore out broke down condo. It was stinky (bathroom ventilation problems) and thick grey mold growing. Bunch of junk in the wore out old kitchen. Checkin was uncertain till the last minute. I’ll never stay there again. "

"Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan is a beautiful tropical resort with immaculate grounds and one of the friendliest, most welcoming staffs I’ve experienced. The property truly feels like a tropical escape. The beach isn’t a traditional sandy beach, as there are rocks when entering the water, but it’s still beautiful, and I enjoyed seeing tropical fish while swimming. The resort has several restaurants, although the food was somewhat hit or miss. I wanted to give this resort five stars, but a few things held it back. Service was usually excellent, but there were times when it was difficult to get someone’s attention to order food or drinks. The rooms were also noisier than expected. I could hear the air conditioner, neighboring villa doors, and occasional music from nearby. The villa was nice and comfortable, but I would have appreciated a comfortable chair or small couch. My room overlooked a nicely landscaped garden, but beyond that was just a wall. The location is very secluded. There isn’t anything within walking distance, so you’ll need a taxi to go anywhere. The surrounding neighborhood is much more modest than the resort itself. The gym yoga mats were worn and should be replaced or cleaned more regularly. I also found the spa to be overpriced for the experience. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with wonderful staff that could easily earn five stars with a few improvements."

"We love their huge pool. Cleaning staff, staff in rhe sports bar, lounge and front desk were all helpful. However, they could have cleaned the beach earlier and better. it’s full of trash. We missed our breakfast on our last day since we had an early flight. Tried to call room setvice to have them prepare it ahead of time but line was always busy. The “supervisor” at the breakfast buffet did not even accomodate us before 6am to have them pack something for us since our airport shuttle was scheduled at 6am. We did not get what we paid for breakfast and was disappointed."

"The hotel was good, but the shuttle service was not Free as I expected, and that should be made clear. Also we waited an extra hour at the airport upon arrival even though we scheduled shuttle service the day day prior. But the staff at the restaurant were very nice and provided great service."
