"Clean and friendly "

"Lovely people, great view over the lake and countryside beyond, wonderful room. Breakfast was outstanding. Really enjoyed our stay at Jetwing lake - which we used as a base for visiting the incredible sights in the area (Dambulla, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa)"

"Reception staff really friendly. Room and bathroom was clean. Property could do with a bit of maintenance in places though. Also no safe available in room. Not many sunbeds around the pool. Samman provided us with 2 great tours. He was excellent and went above and beyond. "

"Lovely hotel in great surrounding. Fab infinity pool for Insta worthy pics. The food at the hotel was outstanding and by far the best buffets we had during our trip to Sri Lanka and definitely the best hoppers. The hotel is built into a rock. Some areas felt a little dated in decor and check in was a bit slow but this could be due to the large numbers of people staying at the hotel. The pool boys at the infinity pool were fabulous in helping us take photographs that captured the beauty of the area. The room was lovely and we had a fantastic view of Sigiriya and a jacuzzi with an outside view. Great base for exploring Sigiriya and the Eco elephant safari."

"Didn't use tge Spa. An odd gesture is the toilette without a door and shower with clear glass door. That was quite an awkward surprise which made my family very uncomfortable."

"A beautiful Resort, wished we stayed longer to enjoy more of it. The only downside for us was the bar. If you’re offering cocktails, you need staff that know what they are doing. The staff behind the bar had no idea."

"We enjoyed our stay in this tea estate. The nature is beautiful, good offer of tours and spa, staff always friendly and welcoming. The colonial reception is somewhat unique, definitely a great place. And the view from the room is to die for!! With that said we found the property not up to the standards they claim to have: we had the honeymoon suite, that despite the high price tag came with a tent full of holes and poorly mended. When we checked in there was moldy food in the fridge (again, it happens but for that price it shouldn’t), and there were hair in the shower. We flagged both, they immediately sent cleaning over which removed the moldy food (but didn’t clean the fridge which was dirty) and for the shower the receptionist told us the cleaning staff didn’t find anything (we showed her the picture, so probably they didn’t even bothered to clean the shower). Again, these things shouldn’t happen in a room that goes for 300 USD a night. Restaurant and breakfast is average. Again, given the beauty of the place maybe we had higher expectations."
