Mal abgesehen von der tollen Lage, von der man mit 10 min Fußweg nicht nur die Innenstadt von Funchal super erreichen konnte, sondern auch bei allen externen Aktivitäten wegen der guten Lage auch immer problemlos abgeholt werden konnte, war das Hotel an sich auch einfach fehlerfrei. "When I arrived a gentleman came from the restaurant attached next door to give me my key, but my name wasn’t on his printed list. After a long phone with somebody else call he gave me key and I was able to get to a room. He was very friendly and invited me over for dinner. The room was very basic but clean, exactly what I needed. The location was pretty good, but make sure you book a taxi ahead of time if you have an early flight!"

"Would absolutely stay here again. The staff took extra care with keeping the property clean, literally nothing was dirty. The staff were Ann very polite and super attentive. They all spoke a level of English (which was good for us seeing as we don’t speak Portuguese). The room was incredible, we splashed out a bit and got a junior suite with an ocean view and it was INCREDIBLE. The amenities were great - we tried to make use of all that we could considering our short stay. Definitely book again."
