"Very basic and old motel. It advertises a restaurant on site- not really. There is one across the parking lot. Only open at night and employees want to close early, not great. The price of over $200/night is way high for what you get. I would equate it to a basic Super 8 and would not pay over $60 to stay there."

"This was a one night stop as we traveled west from the UP to Duluth and we wished we could have stayed here longer. This is a fantastic property. The best hotel breakfast we had all week, and a pool that was actually warm and a hot tub that functioned as it is supposed to. It doesn't sound like a high bar to meet, but so many other properties fail to maintain the amenities to a high standard.
