"This is an amazing hotel that has been lovingly furnished using local art and an eye for design and colour. It is not only comfortable, but also just a nice space to be in. I was upgraded to a suite at no extra cost, and the extra space and amenities was a real treat. I had my evening meal there. The food was delicious. The staff were all super friendly and helpful."

We heard our jet lagged, very loud guests nextdoor every night ,at 3am and 4am … Also nearby concerts every night with loud music which lasted until midnight ."

Near to everything that Colombo has to offer but with its own unique identity and a beautiful lake and wetland reserve area, the town is worth considering as your base when visiting Sri Lanka - and nowhere is more welcoming, comfortable or hospitable than Villa 53. The hosts - Sriyantha and Champie - went way, way beyond the call of duty to make our stay both memorable and productive. Nothing was too much trouble for them or their team...
