This was a super-convenient location near the Madrid Atocha train station. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood but walking distance to the main museums in Madrid. It was a perfect home-base for the three of us to explore Madrid.

Apartment was perfect for a family of four visiting Madrid for a few days. Very clean and functional with a full kitchen. Neighborhood is good and close to shops and grocery.

Really comfortable apartment in a good area, close to Atocha transport hub and attractions such as the Reina Sofia and Prado Museums and the Retiro Park. Lots of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Only negative was trying to get used to the quirky lock on the apartment door.

A clean and well positioned one night stay

We stayed for one night and were happy with the studio for this length of time. Very well equipped with plenty of space. Very close to the station it was good value for money and easily walkable to other areas of the city. The room was very clean. Downsides - we were on the ground floor and the “views” from the room were a little dismal - but for something so close to the station this was to be expected. I also had to chase the team running the location for the access codes and I would have expected to receive these at the time that check in was possible.

Good location, good room space with kitchen and washer. Very close to Atocha train station. There are some stain marks on the coach need to be cleaned so people can sit on it.

Would definitely book again.

Check in info received before arrival. Nice apartment. Plenty of dining or grocery shopping around. No WINE OPENER?! A towel in the kitchen would be useful to do minor dishes (apartment had a dishwasher, but traveling solo, didn’t really need it). Door to apartment let in some noise from people coming and going, but bedroom was quiet.

Our stay was good. The property was clean and very nice. The only issue we had was that we had to call them to get the codes to get in. They did not send them to us.

Good location, room is clean. The staff was not helpful at all. I sent in-APP messages twice on the day, asking for check in instructions and access code, but didn't receive any reply. I called the staff when I arrived at property, I was told check in instruction has been sent to WhatsApp. I didn't receive any message from the property, we had never communicated on WhatsApp. The staff refused providing access code on phone, and didn't want to send the code thru email or in-APP messages. After 20 minutes argument on phone, finally I was given the code. My first day of a 4-week holiday was totally ruined. It was the worst ever check in experience.

The check-in was very simple and we were pleased to walk into a nice, clean room. Our visit was less than 24 hours so we were not able to explore the area too much. The location was great as we were able to walk from the train station to the hotel and out again for dinner. Also, the hotel staff communicated very quickly with any questions I had using WhatsApp. Thank you, Smartr Atocha Reina Sofia!

Apartment was very nicely appointed. Clean and in good location. Only issues were firm matresses and incorrect exterior code was give multiple times before we received the correct one. Otherwise we would recommend this place

Clean and convenient place to stay, but, Check-in?

If you don’t have an internet access on the day of Check-in after 3:00 Pm, you might as well find another place to stay. Check in software needs more work to be fully functioning.

Our room was not the one we booked om hotels.com. the room showed on hotels.com has a balcony and bright light. The room we got was a dark and no balcony with very bad smell. When you open the window you can see the garage around.

desk staff has no flexibility dealing with credit card payments over the phone, I had phone issues upon reaching Madrid & the desk agent made me come to their office just to complete the payment process, just plain absurd since the office has my credit card info to reserve the unit, the agent could easily have easily processed the payment & give the entry code for the property over the phone, NO need for a subway ride to the office just to be given the entry code, what a hassle!

A comunicação com gerência foi ótima, assim como o check in. O maior problema é o quarto da suíte que é muito pequeno, difícil até para abrir as malas e não tem nenhum armário, prateleira ou gaveta para acomodar os pertences. A vista das janelas é muito feia, caso se importe com isso vale mencionar. Observei que hóspedes que chegavam a noite tiveram dificuldade para receber o código de entrada, sugiro que se for este o caso avise a propriedade com antecedência que chegará a noite. Localização excelente, muito perto da estação metro e da estação de trem Atocha, farmácias, mercados e ótimos bares e restaurantes tudo isso a poucos metros. A máquina de lavar roupa não é secadora.

Mandaron instrucciones para check in, pero no hay lobby. No hay cuidado de maletas, y los que hay en los alrededores no son 24 horas. La falta de toque humano es frustrante. Preferi ir a otro hotel.
