"Place was great little out dated "

"The front desk staff were amazing, as were the beautiful rooms! Beds and shower were great, room clean, and the check in process pleasant. There is a small gallery upstairs that is worth a visit, and the connected pub has great breakfast options. I checked in around 1am after getting off the ferry from Prince Rupert, and would highly recommend staying here if you're in Port Hardy!"

"This is a 100 year old hotel in the village of Alert Bay. Our room had a small balcony with a great view. The breakfast included bread, fruit and yogurt. The dining room downstairs had a limited menu. Don’t pay any attention to the one posted online. Prices, of course were higher , but the food was good. "
