"Slept great."

"Basic type of hotel room. Comfortable bed and pillows. The coffee machine wasn’t working well and was at best “weak.” The staff was helpful when we had an issue with our sink. Bottom line: value for the price in Shenandoah and a decent place to bunk!"

"The room was cool, the staff was helpful. They were short staffed and the hotel was booked solid so they did very well under the circumstances. The only negative was the internet was not working either last night or this morning and the phone wasn’t working to complain about it. On the whole it was adequate. "

"The vending machine only had two options available. Both the soda machine and the breakfast bar were already half empty during breakfast hours. There was just one staff member covering both the front desk and the breakfast area, and she was also looking after two young children. The air conditioning unit couldn’t be adjusted for temperature or fan direction, and it blew directly onto my bed all night. If you’re not looking for a very cheap place to sleep, you might want to skip this one."

"The room and the building in general are in terrible condition and the staff make little effort to keep tbe building clean. For our room in particular, our TV didn't work the entire time we stayed and the front desk tried to fix then said they would have someone out ASAP to look at it. Nobody ever did show up. Smoke detector was covered in trash bag, handle on the window was completely broken off and left on the window sill, the outlet plate covers were almost all broken, one of the sinks was...

"Place was being remodeled and I didn’t know ahead of time. Lobby, for example, was under construction so did not have its usual fireplace. Made it feel dirty. Some green space to walk dog but lots of trash near one end of lot. Convenient to restaurants and highway. Good WiFi"

"The Microtel Inn was nice and very good price per room. The rooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable. TE staff was very helpful at check in, breakfast, and suggestions to make our stay the best. Will definitely stay here again."

"Staff did what they could to assist the TV not working, broken shower, and broken coffee maker. Spent much of our time watching maintenance fix everything. Then we had kids running up and down the hallway and dogs barking all after 11PM. Not happy with this stay."

"Decent and quiet place to stay "

"We were put into a room on the 3rd floor and discovered none of the light switches worked. There was a burn hole in the comforter in a non smoking room. They had cheap fluorescent work lights as their room lights. The window screen was torn. We were then moved to a 1st floor room. None of the outlets worked. The floor length mirror was held to the wall with caulking. The mattress was VERY uncomfortable and we only had 2 very flat pillows. I could not sleep. They had an indoor pool but you could...

"The rooms were too hot. You can’t adjust the thermostat below 65 F and it rarely stays at that temperature. Also, the swimming pool was small. The staff was helpful, but not much you can do when the structure itself is flawed. The breakfast was above average but consistently had to wait for refills on coffee. I will not stay here again. "
