"Sorry to report we were very disappointed, great view is the only reason this location gets a second star. We stayed one night, had two rooms in February. The rooms never heated up, we tried to get help with no luck. Was very clean either. Nobody there to check in and no one there to check us out. This location isn't certified to collect city taxes either, we checked as we tried to pay. Plenty of other places just as nice"

"DO NOT BOOK!!! We got to town around 3pm and the hotel was closed and there was no response (check-in began at 12:30 according to the listing and there were suppose to be staff until 11pm). Called all 3 numbers listed on the door and the calls "could not be completed." Checked my email and the hotels.com listing to make sure I had not missed any messages but there were no messages. Ended up booking another hotel last minute."

"Location is less than 2 minutes from the train station…very convenient. Staff were very kind and helpful. Room and breakfast met our needs. Worth the stay if you don’t want to drag your bags…central location."

"The room was small but perfect for two adults! Seems to be family owned, and although there is no view of the ocean from the room/balcony there is only a small walk there. Really enjoyed our stay and the service was minimal but sufficient. Overall great!"

"Convenient to both train station and ferry terminal. Clean. Quiet. Nice terrace. No kitchen. Low water pressure in the shower. Staff responded quickly when we were locked out due to the electronic lock running out of battery (suddenly, without warning). Luckily, we were not in a hurry at that moment."

"A great place to stay to get away from the crowds and enjoy a beautiful view of the sea. Given that it is away from the city center, you will need to take taxis or rent a car to get to where you want to go. The villa was peaceful, clean, and the bottles of wine and treats in the room were such a nice touch. Lastly, thank you Cristina and Nicola for a wonderful stay! You both were so kind and very helpful answering any questions I had! Highly recommend!"

"Un bel hôtel avec une vue sublime, probablement la plus belle vue sur les Cinqueterre. En outre, c'est un des rares hôtels qui offre un vrai stationnement pour les voitures. La navette qui permet de descendre en ville et de remonter à l'hôtel est indispensable mais elle peut être pleine à certaines heures. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Le personnel est aimable et parle plusieurs langues. Les chambres sont belles, mais insuffisamment insonorisées. "

"Proprietor Angela was delightful. Happy hour on terrace with a fantastic view very special. Don’t be dissuaded by need to use monorail to bring bags up….there is a walkway thru the village that we took everytime after arrival. Explore Levanto & Borrasso too. "
