This property is a place to leave your worries behind... very tranquil. The heated pool is heavenly, the bolón is the best I have ever had, the staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating and the beach is phenomenal... I have never seen so many different colored rocks in one place. The rooms are clean, the shower is hot, and the beer is cold. This is my second stay at the Sanctuary, and I'm looking forward to the next.

This is a beautiful property right on the beach. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast was delicious as was dinner. The owner of the property is on site and super friendly plus he speaks perfect English. I highly recommend this as the place to stay in Puerto Cayo.

Es un hotel realmente hermoso y la atención muy buena. Dos cosas que no me gustaron fue que las sábanas estaban manchadas y siento que podrían darle mantenimiento al edificio, es decir pintarlo y mejorar la parte de la piscina. De ahí todo estuvo muy bien, el desayuno incluido muy bueno.

The hotel was absolutely perfect! It was very clean and safe. The manager of the hotel is always at the hotel to answer any questions and gave us a prime service. We ate the majority of our meals at the hotel because of how delicious and fresh they were. The property has its own private beach and is steps from the pool. We have fallen in love with this perfect hotel and look forward to returning next holiday season!

Schönes Haus, schlechter Service

Neue Anlage mit netter Bepflanzung, gute Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Sehr kleiner Pool, schöner Naturstrand. Der Service (Hauspersonal, Restaurant) ist schlecht teilweise unfreundlich. Trotz Hinweis wurde der verstopfte Duschablauf nicht gereinigt. Bei Anfragen wird verständnislos reagiert oder so als würde man nicht verstehen - trotz Spanischkenntnisse. Das Essen ist schlecht und unprofessionell zubereitet: schlechtestes Frühstück in ganz Ecuador, die Gemüsecreme war verdünnter Kartoffelbrei, Säfte werden mit gechlortem Wasser verdünnt, mittags nur 2 Speisen zur Auswahl. Die Preise hierfür, insbesondere für Getränke, sind vollkommen überzogen. Wir haben danach in einem 5Sterne-Hotel für ein um Klassen besseres Essen und mit mehr Getränken deutlich (!) weniger gezahlt. Die Wartezeiten auf Getränke und Essen sind erheblich. Der Service und die Küche entsprechen einem Haus, in dem für eine Übernachtung 120 USD gezahlt werden müssen, in keinster Weise.
