"If you are planning to book this hotel through the Expedia group including Hotels.com, get confirmation that all the relevant taxes are included in the advertised price.
Despite my booking confirmation making it explicitly clear that I had, the hotel disputed this stating they had an issue with the Expedia group. So I ended up having to pay the taxes and looking at previous comments, I'm not the only one this has happened to.
