Aufenthalt nichts möglich, da niemand anwesend, da laut Nachbarin Besitzerin schwer erkrankt und daher niemand aufgenommen werden könnte. Büßten uns ein anderes Hotel suchen.

Quiet converted villa just out of the city

Spent one night on the way from Lakes to Bologna after touring downtown Mantua. Renovated villa on the outskirts of city. Large room and good bathroom, well appointed. Exercise bicycle in the corner was a first. Gated entrance with key code to parking lot (make sure you read the code correctly when the receptionist provides it). Generous breakfast. Restaurants a short drive away for dinner.

Villa a Mantova con torte da provare :)

villa ben posizionata rispetto a Mantova e alle altre attrazioni turistiche. stanze comode e molto grandi. colazione buona con ottime torte fatte in casa. cortesia sopra la media. pulizia OK, ma da migliorare ancora un po' x essere un vero cinque stelle. Da consigliare, visto che ci tornerei volentieri.

Delightful B and B

We loved our stay. Anna is an outstanding hostess and her breakfasts are wonderful. We really felt at home. Getting into town is pretty easy. Return a bit more cumbersome, and the only reason I didn't give it five stars. Mantova is a jewel. Be sure to visit the Palazzo Te.

A pleasant stay

Pleasant renovated old villa. Ground floor rooms (formerly the formal rooms) converted into the larger bed rooms and very spacious (even too much so). Second floor rooms will suffice for most people's needs. AC present and a must to avoid mosquitos (ever present in summer due to nearby lakes surrounding city). Only a short drive to city center/palazzo ducale. Figure out the way to the hotel beforehand as the presence of the Tangenziale (ring road) cuts the street which the hotel is located into two parts and this confused the GPS in our rental vehicle. Ample parking. Gate code and entry code on front entrance for added security (although the area seemed quite safe). Continental breakfast was quite good.

Un angolo di paradiso

Io e mio marito abbiamo alloggiato in questa villa per due giorni la scorsa settimana... esternamente la villa è ben tenuta, ma all'interno è curata in ogni dettaglio... ogni camera porta il nome di un personaggio della storia di mantova... La nostra camera era molto spaziosa e confortevole e ben pulita;era dotata di bagno in camera (anch'esso molto confortevole e pulito), frigo bar e sky. La colazione? Divina.... la proprietaria, signora davvero gentile e disponibile, ogni mattina ci offriva una vasta varietà di torte fatte in casa, da far invidia a molte blasonate pasticcerie... davvero buonissime!!! Speriamo di tornarci.

Schöne alte Villa nahebei Mantua

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, tolles Frühstück mit einer großen Anzahl von selbstgemachten und sebstgebackenen traditionellen Speisen, die Nähe zu Mantua war sehr angenehm zum Besuch der Stadt und der vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten.

A lovely surprise

The hotel is very nice. It is an old house that has been renovated to a very high standard. The owner gave us a great recommendation of somewhere to eat in Mantova (Lo Scalco Grasso). The breakfast was amazing (one of the best that we had during our two weeks in Italy). The price is extremely good value considering everything that is included. Mantova town centre is not walking distance but easliy reachable by car.

Outskirts of town on private secure villa

Loved the venue. Only great things to say about room, cleanliness, Anna's cooking and hospitality. We had difficulty sleeping with a loud party next door being a Friday night perhaps, but villa was excellent.

Vackert gammalt hotell med moderna rum

Mycket vackert hotell med endast några få rum i en 700 år gammal villa. Stort rum med badrum, modernt inrett. Plus för gratis parkering på gården. Hotellet ligger ca 3 km från Mantova centrum. Bil rekommenderas om man vill ta sig dit!

Fantastic place to stay

Great location and beautiful spacious rooms. The owner made us feel very welcome and gave us information on places to visit and recommended several good restaurants. The breakfast was delicious, a great selection of homemade food and local produce. The Villa felt very homely and we would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone
