"The lodge is about 30 miles from the park entrance on mountain roads so much less crowded, quieter, ready to enjoy nature. The lodge is old and small but our room was clean and comfortable. Shower and air conditioning in working order with wifi, no TV. The lodge is next to the river, the grill is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there is a market in the building. We enjoyed our visit."

Main area was spacious and well appointed, but Bathroom was a little cramped, and bathroom fixtures and shower could benefit from renovation. Front door knob and lock also seemed flimsy. Top security lock was broken."

"I stayed for 2 nights,nice small motel.Snacks provided in room we're a nice benefit.Owner is very friendly and helpful.He asked me if I was enjoying my stay,on second day.Its conveniently located and easy to find.Theres a Taco truck with great food,only a very short walk down the street.I will like to stay here again, when I go hiking from Onion valley trailhead again."
