"The pub itself and the breakfast were great but the room i had smelled damp and needed some love! The bed was very old with person shape dents in the mattress The owner came out immediately to fix a light but as he couldn't reassure me that the other rooms were any better I left after one night of no sleep."

"The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm."

"Breakfast was excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Between midnight and 3:00am there was a great deal of drunken singing in the street. One of the revellers tapped on my bedroom window. Perhaps this was a one time event(England vs Norway.). It wasn’t really a problem for me, but my wife, had she been there with me, would have felt threatened by this. The lack of night security should be remedied."

"We were in room 3 which was huge, it comprised of a small sitting room, bathroom and large bedroom. Bed was very comfortable, room spotless, tv in both sitting room and bedroom. Small fridge in the sitting room with milk and chilled water which was very welcome as it was extremely hot. Breakfast was lovely, good portions, and all the staff were fantastic. "Room was very clean and comfortable bed - staff were upbeat, really friendly and helpful. Parking was great and bar very pleasant atmosphere - enjoyed a good laugh playing Bingo. Good breakfast and evening meal."
