Let's start with the positives: The rooms are absolutely fantastic—beautifully designed and very comfortable. The pool is truly amazing, a real centerpiece of the resort. We also found every staff member we interacted with to be incredibly nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the negatives were significant. The check-in process was terrible and painfully long. We had booked an ocean view room, but the front desk tried to place us in a room with a barely-there "peek-a-boo" view. It took a frustrating hour-long wait for them to sort it out and give us the room we had actually paid for. The biggest issue is that the resort is still under construction. There was persistent and loud construction noise by the pool on both days of our stay, which really ruined the relaxing atmosphere. Also, be aware that the property is situated on a very steep hill. This wasn't a problem for us, as they will gladly pick you up in a cart and drive you anywhere you need to go, but it's something to know before you book. The bottom line is that this property has the potential to be incredible. Once construction is completely finished and they sort out their front desk operations, it will likely be an amazing destination. For now, it feels like a work in progress. "

They also kept our luggage after checkout, which was very convenient. The only downside was some renovation noise in the lobby area, but overall we were very satisfied with our stay."
