The staff were outstanding…too many to mention, but here are a few: Lovina buffet restaurant), Rose (housekeeping), Kershana (activities) and yoga master Vernon! Food was great, esp on the Verandah and Trattoria. Only negative was Hermina at the reservations desk…her blunt negative attitude stood out amongst everyone else’s easy, friendly demeanour. The resort did a commendable job clearing out the sargassum each morning. And it was a pleasant surprise to play on four dedicated pickleball courts. Overall, while our Adults Only section gave us the quiet relaxing vibe we wanted, it was fun to see all the kids and parents enjoying themselves in the waterpark, at the pool and around the Cove. "This resort is absolutely beautiful. Every detail is great. Rooms are super clean and spacious. The stuff is very friendly and nice always ready to help. Food is absolutely delicious. Views are absolutely stunning. Everything in this resort is great!"

"Our room was EXTREMELY small, the bathroom door could not close all the way. The entry door had serious gaps in it, looked unsafe. The air conditioner started to stop working just before we left, not enough sockets to plug up devices and watch tv. Ride to and from airport was $20, which we were not informed of and it was only 2-4 miles from airport"

They do offer room service breakfast but I recommend eating breakfast at the restaurant. Take the time to explore! There are so many cool features! "

"Banbou Terrace was everything we hoped it would be and more! It all starts with the best host ever…Ruphena…who was a joy to meet. Ruphena provided very helpful info about the area and checked in with us via text during our stay. The property itself was lovely. We felt safe inside the gated property. We stayed in the two bedroom unit on the top floor. We tend to cook a good bit when we travel. The fully furnished full kitchen is such a great benefit. The King bedroom with attached roomy full bathroom were wonderful. The AC works well and cools quickly. The living area was comfy and dining area was more than adequate for our needs. We didn’t use the second King bedroom and very roomy full bath, but they are excellent as well. The two exterior features also help to make this property what it is. The rooftop terrace provides ample seating and stunning views of the surrounding area and the sea. The pool on the lower floor is a great place to chill after a day of exploring. If you’re trying to decide between this property or another, you need to go ahead and make it happen. The 10/10 rating didn’t happen on its on. This is THAT place! Thanks again, Ruphena!"
