"We booked this trip last minute and had no idea about how great the area is. This ended up being a great call. Moderately priced and has a great restaurant and Cafe. Room was modern, clean and decent size. Has some great history too!"

"I had a terrible time with the check-in process that was virtual and required me to download a key card app to my phone and then return the next morning to get actual key cards which did not work the first time. After that everything was great, the staff was extra helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area and the cleaning ladies even did the dishes that I had left in the sink that I was going to do later. There were four resident deer that almost came right up to my hand, and the morning view over the mountain was absolutely gorgeous. The room was so spacious, my husband almost wanted to stay longer, and now wants a heated floor in our bathroom!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The property was welcoming, and full of character. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the hospitality made us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Marlinton or exploring the beautiful West Virginia mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!"

"This place was every blue collar man’s dream. Well priced, cozy, full of possible activities located in one of the most scenic parts of West Virginia. I’m coming back to this place with my kids and then my kids kids if they are still around!"

"An amazing & lovely place to stay with a great view and would do so again! Had some hiccups getting checked inn due to a minor tech issue causing manually written paperwork being needed which that caused a backup in the office. Room interiors where dated in there styling but clean & well maintained. Only issue I had was the mini refrigerator, the frizor was backed with frost obstructing the sensor so the main fridge wasn't cooling properly. Did bring it up when checking out and saw the friendly staff immediately recording the issue to solve it. Only other wish would be to see taller toilets they felt extremely low & small to me. Despite this I would book again!"

"Wonderful stay in this quaint but spacious apartment. Great setting with a beautiful stream close by. Plenty of parking and a fabulous restaurant (Gustave’s Bistro) in an attached building. It’s self check-in but we hadn’t received the check in email with door codes by the time we arrived. Fortunately, there was a phone number and the owner immediately provided the email so entry was not an issue at all. We would highly recommend this place."
