"Overall it was a nice hotel for 2 stars, with perfectly clean rooms and friendly staff.
The room was a little cramped, not much maneuvering room around the twin beds or in the ensuite, but it was quite cheap and served our purposes nicely. Possibly worth knowing is that the wifi si free but only allows the connection of one device at a time.
Breakfast was continental-style, quite varied and 6 euros per person."
"Lovely place to stay. Hôtel old chateaux, so don’t expect new hotel. It blends old tradition with comfort. Dining wonderful and food superb.

"Returned to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary just for one night. Although rooms are quite basic in decoration, the chateau is incredible and the dinner was exceptional. We loved it and will definitely return again. "
"Lovely hotel close to abbey. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was superb - all locally sourced, beautifully cooked. Both nights I stayed there, it was fairly full with plenty of local residents- sue sign of a good place! Thank you for a good stay."

"Pleasant property and host Jean-Christophe. After road trip we were looking forward to cup of tea, but no tea & coffee facilities in room.
Hadn't planned to travel for dinner but appreciated the restaurant reservation in Perigeux at Hercule Poireau (cave) restaurant, great atmosphere, personable staff and beautifully presented, delicious cuisine.

"Propriétaires très agréables, chambre un peu vétuste mais assez propre. En plein canicule nous avons bien apprécié la fraicheur de notre chambre! Pas de clim mais vieux bâtiment en pierre. Excellent petit déjeuner et un super repas le midi (que du frais et fait maison). Hôtel de caractère donc n'attendez pas le moderne."
