"Stayed at this location going cross country. I had stayed here last fall and didn't hesitate to book here again. This visit was disappointing starting with the check in. The person at the desk was not helpful. He gave us a room on the 2nd floor. I asked where we could find the elevator as was told there wasn't one. That was fine, but the attitude given was surprising. The directions given by the employee had us walking to the wrong end of the hotel to access the stairs furthest from the room.
When we got to our room, the door was ajar with an extended deadbolt. It was evident the room was not clean and the bathroom had been used. We did not find anything else amiss with the room (towels and bedding appeared clean), so we settled in for a short rest before hitting the road in the morning.
Each time I passed the front desk, no one was in sight. I had had a good stay last October, but I doubt I will stay here in the future."

"Our reserved check-in date was for May 25 and once we learned we would be checking in late we informed the office because we didn't want to risk losing our reservation. Our check-in process was smooth. They gave us keys to room 112 and as soon as we walked in we were hit with a very strong and unpleasant odor, not to mention a few flies. In the bathroom there was a separate and very strong urine odor, not to mention a very large spider. (Please note the fly and the spider aren't a big deal, but added to the ick). I went to the front desk and Mr. Patel moved us to a different room (116) which was much better! We unpacked and enjoyed our night relaxing in the pool and the hot tub. The next day we went to the Amana Colonies and were gone for the majority of the day. When we got back my husband took our son to the pool for some fun time and I stayed in the room to prepare for our departure the next day. While I was sorting some things out my room door slams open and there are 2 men standing there. The key they were issued by the front desk opened my door! Not only was a really frightened. but pretty pissed. The 3 of us walked to the front desk and Mr. Patel issued all of us new keys. Curiously though their room ended up being on the second floor not the first. I could sit here and pick this apart all day long, but I won't."
