It is next to the motorway but that didn't stop us sleeping. It is very basic but clean and friendly. We had a room at the top. Initially we are given an upgrade to a room with a sauna but someone had been smoking in it. After breakfast on two days we spent a lovely time on the terrace with me playing on my computer and my wfe painting. Not far the motorway! Served us well

My wife and I randomly booked this accommodation as we were looking for a place in the country side close to both Firenze and Bologna - and it was great! The place is in a remote but stunning location and the room was very clean! The hosts were so kind and friendly, giving us hugs and local recommendations which we appreciated. It is a lovely place to stay if you want to be in peaceful and quiet place but want to be around an hour drive away from bigger cities. The breakfast was also...

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was great and we enjoyed our supper too. Great stop over for weary walkers

It was amazing. Very good and comfortable stay

Lovely village feel with the hotel and the castle being at the centre. There was a wedding on in the castle, they seem to have many events at the grounds. We ate in the restaurant one night which was excellent (restaurant is closed on Sundays), the room was very spacious, modern and clean with a great shower room, breakfast was simple but did the job. Getting to Bologna is not that easy without a car as the local train station has only very few trains per day and the bus stop is quite a walk. ...

Fantastic trip

Super.

Very nice room and kind staff. The terrace is beautiful

Lovely location, staff were very helpful. Can only recommend this hotel. 10/10

Beautiful setting. Upgraded to a lovely old cottage - large room, direct access to garden, elegant decor, big bathroom , first rate a/c. Excellent poolside restaurant, quality breakfast in sunken grotto. Secure underground onsite parking. Only minus was lack of lighting in room - only 2 bedside lights - other main light switched off after a few seconds, no way to keep it on.

The hotel was clean, the staff were helpful, and the pool was really good. The only issue is that it is quite far from the centre of Bologna but buses were available to get there reletively easily.

Lovely staff, great breakfast and overall excellent value. A lot of space for parking but you should only go here if you travel by car. If you do so, this is a fabtastic hotel for a very reasonable price

Staff very nice and available . They helped us to solve an issue with the booking offering us a very useful upgrade. Good continental breakfast. I really enjoyed the stay

I was surprised when I arrived, driving through a small tree lined driveway to the hotel. The staff on reception were very friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. I was really pleased with my room, it was cosy and felt authentically Italian and very clean. The bed was comfortable and had good quality linen. The breakfast was self service and so much choice, it was very enjoyable, staff were very quick to replace items and clear tables, very efficient. I would definitely stay at this...

This suits for its remoteness and yet only 2 mins drive to town if you want a restaurant My wife and I stayed here Aug 17 and what was a delight. Quite yet stunning views. Breakfast and dinner at their own restaurant is mouthwatering and if like me your a biker, ideally positioned for great roads and Mugello or Imola circuits. The pool area is big enough and quiet and sun stays on poolside until 7pm. Would stay again just for the peace and hospitality. Thanks to Sabrina and her staff we had...

This was the 2nd time I’ve stayed here and it was just as good as last year. I love this hotel. The staff, the pool area everything is just great. I always feel very looked after when I stay here. The breakfast is superb too.

Lovely place to stay!

The room was large and very tidy, great shower and a choice of firm or soft pillow. The mini bar was very reasonably priced, cheap enough that we actually used it and didn't feel bad about it. The staff were friendly and informative, we didn't interact with them all that much but all such interactions were pleasant and polite. The breakfast was great - standout was the fruit juice and pastries.
