"This was terrific value for money and would happily stay again. While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. All in all, very good."

We visited for a weekend from the UK to attend a wedding in the area. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we arrived to find that our two twin rooms and had been changed to a family suite, which was perfect for our needs. Lovely breakfast and everything spotlessly clean. Air con was much appreciated during a very hot weekend. The only disappointment was that the pool was dirty and poorly maintained - I wasn’t even sure if it was open, the condition was so poor, with murky cloudy...

This hotel oozes with unique character and style, is in the heart of the town and the manager is amongst the most helpful I have ever come across.
We loved the atrium-style lobby (the central photo for the hotel) the bar stools made to look like champagne cork enclosures and the bedrooms with their unique themes, big comfortable bed and very cool bathrooms.
The manager (Owner?) directed me to the perfect bar to watch the international rugby, the ideal route to go out for a run and even told...

The rooms are extremely comfortable and the hosts were very helpful and very accommodating. They provide dinner on request and the food was superb. Breakfast also excellent. We also took advantage of the opportunity to have a massage. All in all an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

Firstly, the location and access to this charming hotel are perfect. Secondly, the room was spacious yet cosy with a beautiful view over the river. Very comfortable. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

What was unique was when we sat down to dinner, there were two other guests and the owners sat around the same table. More like a dinner party than a hotel restaurant scenario.

We thoroughly enjoyed are stay! The pool and AC were a welcome relief from the heat. The hosts were excellent and we loved hearing about the work they’ve done to the house and the history of the delicious cassoulet they served up in the evening. I wish we’d stayed for longer.

Remarkable overnight find. Friendly, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Only problem was I couldn't get the air to work despite a french instruction label which made sleeping a little difficle

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Massaguel, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What can I see and do in Massaguel?
While you're exploring the area, Saint-Ferreol Basin and Museum and Garden of the Canal du Midi are a couple of picturesque spots to get outside and enjoy nature. In the wider area, you’ll find Abbey of Saint Benedict Calcat and Notre Dame de la Plate Church.
What are holiday rentals like in Massaguel?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Massaguel. Holiday rentals feature amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll have everything you want. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and bustling concierge desks while still allowing you to travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is an attractive option for small groups.
