"I was told upon arrival that they accept cash however I had booked through Expedia. The dude that claimed to be the proprietor kept asking me to pay him cash again? I refused and then he said he had to call to confirm my reservation. After about 15 minutes he still didn’t have confirmation but let me in the room regardless. He showed me the room however there was very little or no water pressure in the sink and the bathroom floor was wet under the sink. I refused this room and then he said he had another but when he turned on the a/c water and mud sprayed out, so I said no thx I’m not staying here. There were no other guests. I left and went to Perth for the night."

"We celebrated our Anniversary & was extremely happy with the room & service. We received a room upgrade (no extra charge) due to our room not being ready at check-in. The room was very clean & comfortable and the food was quite good. The staff went above & beyond recognizing our anniversary day, making it extra special! Thank you Calabogie Peaks Staff!"

"This place was very old but newly renovated. Fresh paint and laminate floors goes along way. Their systems was not updated and I paid twice. I prepaid on Expedia using all my points and paid several weeks before arrival. But upon arrival they said I needed to pay them more money. We could not get our room until we paid. I message Expedia And complained. I was hoping Expedia would refund what I paid on-site. Instead they refunded me what I prepaid. I really wanted to use my points and pay less. Overall this place was good, clean, and hot shower. This restaurant was good with great prices."

"The property is terribly lit. There was no light outside of our little complex and no light in the stairwells. There was no place to hang your clothes and no bedside tables to lay your things on. Also, there was a coffee maker with coffee and tea, but no mugs, cups or glasses to drink from. Lots of dust under the bed"

"Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding. The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish! Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. "
