Residence Palomba - very kind staff welcoming us to their B&B. They took the time to orient us to the Matera area, served us a fantastic dinner and breakfasts. They gave us some very interesting history of the area, and helped us arrange transportation as we left town. Rooms modern and clean. A nice, quiet night's sleep!

Prenotato per visitare Matera città.Gestori e personale gentilissimi.Camera spaziosa e pulita.Bagno grande ma doccia microbica e scomoda.Purtroppo i dissuasori di velocità sulla strada, creano un rumore continuo,le tende non oscurano a sufficienza la stanza e le luci alla testata del letto o non funzionavano o non erano nella giusta posizione.

A great, friendly place to stay

La Palomba est une petite auberge accueillante, propre, calme et sympathique. Chambres spacieuses et décorées avec goût et un bon petit déjeuner. Le centre de Matera est à 5 minutes en voiture. A recommander sans hésitation. En anglais, j'ai mis quelques indication pour trouver la résidence. La Palomba is a small welcoming, clean, friendly and quiet place to stay with spacious, tastefully decorated rooms and a good breakfast. Matera centre is 5 minutes away by car. If you miss the Residence like I did, follow Taranto and just after the Palomba sculpture park and 2 bends in the road, it is just opposite Santa Maria del Palomba on the left. I would stay here again without any hesitation.

Cortesia e tranquillità a due passi da Matera

Con mia moglie abbiamo trascorso un più che piacevole e riposante soggiorno in un ambiente pulito, silenzioso, spazioso e confortevole. La struttura è nuova e a 3 minuti di macchina dal centro città. La colazione continentale, inclusa nel vantaggioso prezzo di Villa della Palomba, è abbondante e varia. Ma quello che più ci è rimasto nel cuore, oltre alla bellezza unica di Matera, è stata la cortesia, gentilezza e disponibilità dei gestori e del personale. Basti pensare che dall’iniziale prenotazione di tre giorni siamo arrivati a sei! Inoltre, una piacevole nota, all’arrivo si viene accolti con un vassoio di frutta fresca in camera… Sicuramente consiglierò questa struttura ai miei amici.
