"Portovenere was a pleasant surprise from start to finish. The city is charming, but we wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if we hadn't stayed at the Grand Hotel Portovenere. The hotel is magnificent, the breakfast is great, the bar-restaurant is delicious and has great views. But the best thing was the kindness of its people: at reception, in the restaurant, the luggage service and cleaning staff. All outstanding. We immensely enjoyed the

"Overall realy good place for the price paid, calm and the view is very nice even at night. Breakfast was also nice and good. On’y small issues are the size of the room and toilet (had to climb over the toilet to access the shower) and we could hear people walking on the corridor whoch can be annoying for some others."
