Top McGregor Hotel Reviews
Crossroads Hotel
"This is a nice basic place to stay. It was comfortable. There is no elevator so pick a handicap room if you don’t want to risk being on second floor and having to carry your luggage up the stairs. When I was having difficulty getting my luggage up the stairs, a staff member came to help me and said I should always ask for help if I need it.There are lots of restaurants nearby and they are interesting, non—chain restaurants that are fun to try. The hotel also can make you a frozen pizza. There is also a local bakery that has excellent baked goods. I would definitely stay here again, and I recommend it to others."
Northwoods Inn LLC
"Place looks pretty rough from the outside, but the room was clean and felt fresh and inviting inside. View of the lake is minimal - it's pretty far away and across the highway, but still nice. The girl who checked me in was cute, friendly and helpful. There are NO amenities, lol. "
River View Lodge
"Check in was super easy and convenient. Rooms were adorable, clean, and relatively spacious! Enjoyed the location. Easy to access and close to town! Impressed by the modern amenities and bathroom. Super helpful staff, as tv was difficult to connect to at first. Called service number and employee was kind, patient and helpful as he walked us through the process. Other guests were considerate of quiet time. Overall a wonderful stay and would highly recommend."
Big Sandy Lodge and Resort
"Everything was clean and orderly. The room was smaller than a hotel room. More like a bedroom. The bed was very soft which for me was very uncomfortable. I had trouble turning on the television. After doing some troubleshooting I called the front desk and got voicemail. It said the pool and hot tub were closed due to construction. It also said they would call me back. They called an hour later and came up immediately. She got the tv on. After she left I still couldn’t get the remote to work and finally figured out that it was set up for voice commands and most of the buttons were useless. Anyway, while I was walking down a hallway I saw the pool and noticed people swimming. It was evening the day before I checked out so I didn’t get to use the pool. I was able to relax, though so I did accomplish what I went for."
Appeldoorn's Sunset Bay Resort
"Very nicely decorated space with a cabin feel. Very clean & kitchen stocked with all we needed for cooking. With it being winter the gas fireplace was warm, comfy, & romantic for our get away."
