The facility is older, but clean & well managed. Staff was friendly. The very best thing - and why I will recommend them with much appreciation - is that upon leaving the area, and forgetting my beats ear buds, they called several times to inform me until I got the message. They were kind enough to send the ear buds in the mail at their own cost. I thank them very much! Please do not hesitate to stay there.

Only game in town -- very old property with limited amenities and slightly surly staff -- property was clean and served its purpose -- climate control required standing on bed to access controls for stand-alone HVAC unit.

The clerk was friendly while checking in. This was the only motel listed for Medicine Lodge. I think there were 7 or 8 vehicles parked by rooms when I stayed. I didn't want to have to drive to Pratt or Alva for this trip. Room was decent, although needing renovation. The AC worked incredibly well!

The hotel was kept up. It was the way my son was treated when he checked in. I reserved the room on Expedia a month in advance. In person the reservation almost wasn’t honored. We were told not to use Expedia any more. Not pleased.

The information from Expedia, the motel website and the way were treated was totally different. Expedia said check in and check out is 12:30. Motel website said check in at 3, check out at 11. They knocked on our door and told us to get out at 10am then proceeded to argue with me about their own check out time.

Small town USA motel

Older motel at a smaller Kansas town. was painted very nice. Needing some maintenance care bathroom door not closing properly, water a sink no cool water. I am sure they would have switched rooms if we asked. But we checked in late stayed one day off next morning early.

Not a good experience

He talked on the phone the entire time he was checking us in. Then they never cleaned the room. Bed was hard and not comfortable.
