The Residences Kalamata

"Great base to see Kalamata. We just needed one night before returning a car to the airport next day and wanted peace of mind for airport proximity. Great location and enjoyed old town and walk to the marina through the old trains there :) Accommodation great and bonus having a balcony. Reasonable price for spacious clean room. There is building work that is loud when you are outside but this morning we did not even hear it start as the double glazing is really excellent; we didn’t use it but there’s also a nice interior courtyard that you can access with seats and artificial grass. Result all round and Efharisto Team Residences. Should add there’s a decent bakery attached that does a lovely coffee and great sandwiches/ cakes etc to take on your flight and avoid the crazy heightened UK prices!"

We honestly cannot think of a single thing that disappointed us. Euphoria Retreat delivered a genuine five-star experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. "Lovely stay. Great breakfast, although you are only allowed 1 coffee otherwise you pay which seems strange. Very luxurious pool area. Everywhere very clean and well maintained. Hardly a scuff on any wall. Pool beautifully clean."

"This is a gorgeous upscale property in a beautiful natural setting of olive groves. The mountains are a beautiful backdrop. Staff went over and above to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast is a huge array of Greek specialties and anything else one could want."

"So close to the mountains you feel like you can touch them from your room. This hotel is beautiful and has that upscale luxury feel to it with a full service spa. The word palace is in the name and it definitely belongs there. The lobby has a palatial feel with high ceilings and nicely upholstered furniture. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are huge and luxurious with nice amenities. This property gives you a resort feel and I could easily spend a week here. Its 5 minute drive from the ruins at mystra and into town which has everything. The property is a little difficult to get to due to typical tiny and twisting roads but is well worth the effort. They have their own olive Grove and what looks like a small ancient home in ruins on site. This is a special place serving luxury and that great Greek hospitality with excellent food. You need to stay here!"

"Lovely hotel in a great forest location. Comfortable room with good facilities. Atmosphere slightly austere. Food excellent - service better at dinner than breakfast."
