Location is very good for our needs when visiting nearby family. We found the bed uncomfortably soft, and were unhappy with the stains on the spare blanket in the main bedroom. One reading lamp shade also is broken, but we were there for only two nights so it wasn't worth getting fixed.

AKOM Prahran

My stay was brilliant, easy and the location fantastic, especially for the price. My only concern is that reception is only manned during normal office hours, but even so they managed to help me with an extended stay with ease at short notice. Would stay there again.

We arrived and it seemed pretty good on the surface. But we realised it wasn’t great on closer inspection. I looked in the dishwasher and there was a load of unwashed cutlery and crockery from a previous tenant. The smell was terrible, I almost gagged when I opened the dishwasher. So I’m not sure how long the dishes had gone unwashed. I tried to put the cycle on, but the dishwasher was broken and kept on beeping. I’m talking EVERY minute or so. I told the guy downstairs at reception and he said he’d send a maintenance person to fix it, this was Tuesday. By the time we checked out on Friday, no one had been by to fix it and we ended up washing the previous tenants dishes by hand. Also, the window in the bedroom we stayed in didn’t close properly so not only did we hear the night life of Commercial Rd and Chapel St as well as the construction near Coles the whole time, but it was freezing in there. Not pleased.

The apartment that I was given was facing the Emerson which can be rather noisy at night. Also the apartment had no blinds in the living room which allows me to look into the Cullen.

The property is fantastic for location with the markets right across the street, loads of shops for browsing, the tram stops right out the front for trips into the city and you couldnt get better convenience in all aspects. The staff are fabulous, Georgie in reception was so helpful and friendly. The apartments are clean and modern. I would highly recommend this property.

The property was in a great location and great value for money. Overall very clean and comfortable and the 2 bedroom apartment also came with 2 bathrooms which was a big plus. The staff were easy to deal with and very helpful.

Easy access after hours on arrival, clean and secure entry, clean lifts. The room was very large, clean and welcoming. Heating in lounge/kitchen area, large clean showers and toilet, large beds. Very happy with our accommodation.

This is the second time I stayed there & just like the first the photos don’t match. I asked for a room like pictured and didn’t get it. They advertise to be very spacious and open but in reality they are so tiny & cramped & uncomfortable
