The History of this building made you feel you had traveled back in time. It was elegant and authentic with many of the heritage features faithfully restored. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The pillow menu was also a nice touch.

Iconic Melbourne hotel where we were greeted warmly by staff who were also very helpful. Very comfortable bed and plenty of room. Hot water slow to heat but otherwise bathroom very comfortable. Don’t need small toiletries provided any more, that could be a positive change for the hotel.

Fantastic location and beautiful old building. However we felt that at this price point the facilities could’ve been a little better. It needs a bit of tlc especially in the bathrooms. A coffee pod machine in the room would be great too instead of very minimal options for hot beverages.
