Only moan was car parking, it isn’t owned by the pub, you have get a ticket or app the book your car in, but the most you can do is three and a half hours, so if staying from 1830 the car park is £1.70 until 05:00, but you cannot update on the app until your parking expires , very stressful, that needs to be looked at by MIpermits who work on behalf of...

"The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part!"

"Do not book here. I booked 10 months in advance and when we arrived they couldn’t find my booking. Given a room on 2nd floor, in direct sunlight so it was like a sauna, but they did give us a fan. Arrived back at midnight to find gates closed and locked. Had to call someone to unlock the gate and let us in. "Plenty of parking available, the staff were friendly and helpful. The actual accommodation is very tired and dated. The sink in the bathroom was totally cracked and in my opinion could be dangerous."

"It literally is a lonely road as in buses pass there but finish early so if your flight is early either book a cab or walk 1hr5 like I did (would never recommend that as the environment was dark and road wasnt easy to walk on) as I arrived in had to wait for check in then got sent to the top floor with no offer of help with me suitcases (bear in mind its 3 floors no lift) not all thr staff are friendly. Put it this way...only stay there if you only need somewhere to rest your head in...

"I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay."
