The pool area is a great place to sit & relax. The location is good as it is close to many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Mendoza."

Breakfast was a bonus with a good variety that included bacon and eggs, fruit and pastries and meat and cheeses. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. Plus the location is close to all the main sites, restaurants and tours in the City. I would stay again. "

"Excellent value and stay! We spent 6 nights at Posada de Roses. Pablo and Matilda were wonderful hosts, and there were a number of nice touches that we liked. Upon arrival, Matilda gave us a tour of the property, and explained the breakfast options. Essentially, they give a voucher for each day's breakfast that can be used at one of 3 local cafes. Over the time we spent there, we ate at all 3 and they were all very good. We enjoyed the variety and thought it was a great idea. We were also given a welcome gift of a bowl of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. Nice touches! The yard is beautiful and we spent hot afternoons lounging by the pool reading, swimming, and watching the many hummingbirds. It's a surprising oasis in the city. They run a tourism agency as well and we booked a horseback riding trip/Argentine asado with them, which was absolutely fantastic. The location is in a quiet part of town but close to restaurants, the center, and Parque San Martin. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would say the only criticism would be that the air conditioner made some noise periodically. "

"When we arrived, we discovered there is a gas leak from the kitchen stove, and we let the owner know immediately. He told us to shut off the valve, but the gas continued to spread up to the upper floor where we were staying. It was worrisome And very stinky. He did not come to deal with it. When we were leaving for dinner, right next-door there was a club that started playing very loud music. This continued until 4 AM in the morning. It was a terrible experience all around. The owner should've been more on top of things. I asked for a refund, and the owner stated that if I wasn't pleased by the next morning that we could have a refund for the remaining three days. Then when we asked for the refund, he gave us a hard time and we only received two days of refund. We spent a lot of time dealing with this, and then we had to still find accommodation for the rest of our stay."
