"The property was family owned through many years. Recently, they have gone through stripped everything and re-remodeled the rooms as well as the exterior. The rooms were nicer than some fancier hotels we've stayed in. We loved it and felt like it was really a wonderful place to stay."

"Room was clean and spacious, however, trying to find a working ice machine was challenging. Pool ice machine out of order. Building across from pool. Broken ice machine. Other than that and my room key losing its charge after 3 days every week things are fine."

"This place is super cute and right on a lake. Online we had no idea that the lake is quite large, we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff at check in we very nice and helpful in letting us know what restaurants were around. Its in a small, cute town with a small downtown and a few restaurants. We loved that we could walk there and also that we could watch the sunset at the private beach. No frills room, but we did not need anything more, there are also cabins. Had we realized how cute and area was and how nice the lakefront was we would have looked at a cabin for more days. Not very far from Sleeping Bear Dunes at all, we went there every day."

"Modern hotel convenient to shopping and restaurants. Comfortable rooms and bed with a nice shower. The only downside was the cold breakfast. Very dissappointing."
