"The FIDI definitely grew on us over the course of our five days we spent there in August. At first we were a little surprised with the overall size of the room (small), but it was sufficient for our needs and the other amenities and location easily made up for it. "We're here for just one night but the hotel entrance is unassuming, elegant and clean. Check in staff is very cordial and helpful and the room is exactly what we needed for the night - just right for 2. A super comfortable place to sleep (nice firm bed!), AC was going strong (it was a hot day!) and bathroom was perfect. AND for NYC, a very reasonable price and near many restaurants on 3rd Ave. Will definitely come back"
