"The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended."

"Family were beautiful and accommodating The house is great and perfect for a long term stay Shops a restaurants are around a 15 minute walk away but once you start walking you are likely to walk pas a free tuk tuk you can jump in I stayed with my 3 year old daughter and it was perfect Pool is great, house facilities are great. "Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation."

"Very nice and very quiet chalet on a deserted beach. The location is literally on the beach. Ideal if you want tranquility. Just the sound of the waves! Our host was excellent and helped us with information we needed. There is a good restaurant next door and the Waves will provide good dinners at reasonable cost if you give them warning (as everything is freshly cooked). "

"Very clean room.Lovely pool. The hotel is out of the way near the river. We loved the tranquil setting. Apart from our safari trip (which was arranged by the owner) we didn’t leave the hotel, which suited us because the food provided at the hotel is delicious. The only negative thing I would say is they could do with upgrading the recliners by the pool. "

"We had an amazing stay at Mansala Safari House. The hosts are very kind and welcoming, and the house itself is clean and comfortable. The hosts arranged two safaris for us which were both excellent; the driver picked us up directly from the accommodation and was very knowledgeable about the park.
