"Great convenient parking right at the hotel, £18 for 24 hours and then £1 for each extra hour. Reception staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Room was good apart from a couple of bits of rubbish found underneath the bed that hadn’t been cleaned. "

"Breakfast felt fresh. Rooms are very budget but have the minimum you would need. Bit awkward how the shower is placed in the main room rather than in a bathroom. Everything is very basic and cramped. The bunk bed has a very awkward ladder to get up and down so not great for people that aren't very mobile."

"Parking was free we stayed on top floor view was nice but room heating was not working properly and bathroom door didn't close when we arrived atmosphere seemed pleasant but as i got to reception the receptionist i was greeted by a unwelcoming receptionist which seemed moody really felt uncomfortable checking she did not tell us properly about our stay just checked us in and told us your room is on top floor did not even say enjoy your stay or anything for that reason i will not be going back to stay at the village hotel worst stay ever "
