There are places that call this Hotel a Motel. It is actually a luxurious hotel. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is a beautiful lobby, with a nice bar area. The rooms are quite large and elegant. Having a free shuttle to the airport was also a huge plus. Would happily stay here again.

Hotel Maxim far exceeded my expectations. The bathtub was enormous.. big room and bathroom, very comfortable, great staff.. excellent coffee bar with the breakfast, very convenient to Linate Airport.. great price, couldn’t ask for more!

The room was vey comfortable with great amenities. People at front desk very helpful and friendly. We chose it because it was close to the airport. But being far from center city, it was not convenient, transportation wise. Loud music until 3 AM made it difficult to sleep.

Clean and spacious

We ended up staying in this hotel because our flight from AMS was cancelled due to weathed and rebooked at night to go to Milan Linete instead of Malpensa. We chose this hotel since it is one of thd closest to the airport and it was already past midnight. We are happy, room is spacious and clean. In addition, it was quiet. Breakfast was so so, but helped since there is nearby restaurant.

Positively different

Even if not travelling by car, it's nice to have an own back door so it's easy to step out for a morning walk or similar. The Idroscalo park is not too far, and if you have time and only hand luggage, you can even walk to the airport through it, 5 kilometers. The restaurant has no kitchen but otherwise a very nice experience.

It's a nice place but cannot get there in public transportation. Bus stop is about a 15 mins walk on a busy road. Also not a lot of places to eat close by ans the hotel doesn't have a kitchen so just premade food options.

I don't often write reviews but I was compelled to do so in this case. The hotel is a luxury motel. What does that mean? It means you get the privacy of your own room with a place to park your car. You won't feel like a number in this hotel. It is a small-scale and relaxing environment. The room is designed like an Italian palace. The design of the hotel is quite innovative, with a single hallway connecting the rooms which leads to the front desk. The room was clean and quiet, with nobody above or below you. The staff was excellent. I wish hotels like this existed in the United States. Will stay here again.
