"Rooms were so comfortable. Bathrooms were large as well as the room itself. Very easy to get around the hotel too. The breakfast was awesome and the wait staff was great. The gardens with the koi pond is so nice. Parking was easy in the garage."

"I’m not saying this will happen for everyone but my stay was not great. Check in was with new staff that knew absolutely nothing and had a very confusing check in. Room 401 has a shared balcony and window that anyone can go to. Or walk past. Window coverings had to be closed 24/7 otherwise everyone can see you. My wife is pregnant and 3 year old kids with us made the room not enjoyable because of privacy. Most of the room was clean with hair and sand from previous tenants swept into corner. Overall we won’t go back intact left a day early. Hopefully others have a better experience"

"Well intentioned property in fantastic location- great staff and lobby- rooms , though renovated , are not fully maintained- missing panel in ceiling of bathroom, no exhaust fan- ant infestation. The staff was responsive, but I'm not sure this is a first choice."

Surf Club Oceanfront Hotel

"I had an oceanfront room and it felt like I was right in the beach that’s how close you are. Dewey Beach is awesome, clean, and family friendly. You steps to the beach. If you get tired or need the restroom you can be in your room in 5 minutes. The kitchen is nice to make a quick meal or heat something up. The rooms was clean. There is pay washer and dryer in the hotel. The pool is excellent. There is an outdoor grill. The staff is very helpful. My only suggestion is that the hotel buy better towels - poor quality and scratchy. If you came for the beach this hotel is the best and at the end of block (5 minute walk) is sharky’s breakfast/lunch, Mamma Maria’s best pizza. And you can walk everywhere else"

"Great place to stay, clean and homey feeling! Super close to many places in Cape May; came for a wedding and was happy to be able to explore the town and beaches that were a simple 15 min drive from the location!"
The Breakers Hotel & Suites

"While having breakfast, our son opened a bag containing a bagel and toasted it. After he began eating it, we noticed that the bagel was covered with mold. This was extremely concerning and suggests that the breakfast items are not being properly inspected and that expiration dates may not be carefully monitored by the staff. We immediately brought the issue to the attention of the breakfast attendant and showed her the moldy bagel. However, her only response was a simple "Sorry," with no further action, concern, or attempt to address the issue"

"The first room we were in was awful. Smelled horrible, dirty sheets and blankets, holes in the wall, broken bathroom door and debris against the walls on the floor of the bathroom and room itself. Vacuuming and sheet changing wasn’t done obviously. Went down to the desk and the staff was helpful (can’t say enough about them). We got a room change. The new room had a musky smell still but it was cleaner with the exception of the comforter which had black and gray filth on it."
