The leaves were turning red when I visited, I can imagine how nice it would be when all leaf turns red. The facility is very simple and rustic. I could enjoy and relax in such beautiful environment. "This was my first experience at at ryokan, and the inn is one I would gladly visit again. Great staff, comfortable beddings, fantastic exteriors, and amazing spa facilities (both public and private). It's a bit of a walk from the main town, though."

"A serene, full-service onsen resort on the gorgeous Mt Aso highlands. Room was spacious, clean, modern. Room service delicious. They had communal bath and also private baths you could reserve for 30 minutes. All in all a great experience. Stayed one night only, next time 2-3 nights for sure! Can recommend!"
