"The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My main concern was the strong fragrance being pumped into the hotel. The scent was extremely overwhelming for me and my boyfriend. Unlike many hotels where fragrance is limited to the lobby, this hotel had multiple fragrance dispensers in the hallway corridors as well. The fragrance was so strong that my boyfriend sometimes held his shirt over his face when we had to walk through the hallway. I am also sensitive to strong fragrances, and the scent was uncomfortable for me. I brought this concern to the hotel’s attention, and they kindly agreed to turn off the fragrance dispensers in the hallway corridors during my stay. That evening, the hallway did seem noticeably less overwhelming when we returned to our room. However, the following morning, the strong fragrance was back and was immediately noticeable when we stepped into the hallway. I understand that scent is part of the hotel’s branding, but I would encourage the hotel to reconsider how strongly fragrance is used, particularly in hallway corridors. Guests should have the option of staying in an environment without a strong artificial scent. Aside from the fragrance issue, we had a positive experience with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff."

"The hotel in La Crosse was excellent- great suite, clean and very helpful staff. Beautiful area around the river and close to parks and Downtown shops and restaurants, Nice continental breakfast. The hotel in Minocqua was very good also except we noticed a small stain on the blanket on the bed. rm 124 Otherwise room was nice and clean. very helpful gentleman at desk."

"The property as a whole was great! Plenty of parking, the rooms were clean and updated. The pool and hottub were well kept and clean as well! The outdoor tikibar is beautiful! Lots of room around thr bar. The property is right off the river and the views are wonderful! Plenty of seating along the river in well kept soft sand. The staff is polite, friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this location!"
