"We were on a cycling trip. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful in locking away our bikes in a secure location. The beds were very comfortable and showers hot! Breakfast was standard continental with plenty of food available. Located a little out of town centre and surprisingly quiet.
The rooms are in need of some minor maintenance but comfortable."

"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. "Аtmosphere and ambience, everything was above our expectations. It is especially nice that staying at the hotel you can explore the Abbey until midnight. Everything is open and there are crowds free. The smell of the herbs in the gardens is simply divine!
Oh, and don't skip breakfast under any circumstances. The experience is unique."
