Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nishi Shinjuku PREMIER

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nishi Shinjuku PREMIER

10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely 3 night stay. Absolutely no chance plants. The hotel is situated 19 minutes walk out of the centre of Shinjuku with a train stop 4 minutes away. Set in a quiet area. The hotel catered for all our needs and would definitely recommend it. Lovely, friendly staff. Great breakfast. No hassles."

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku

10/10 Excellent
"We thoroughly enjoyed Hotel Gracery Shinjuku as a "home base" during our recent trip to Tokyo- it was close to transport and had access to everything we needed to explore Tokyo. Despite being in the "red light" district, we felt safe (mother and teen daughter) and the party atmosphere each night was chaotic, but not problematic. Its distinctive appearance made it an easy navigation tool. Kudos to the daily clean up crew for the streets surrounding. The hotel was a calm oasis inside, and we enjoyed the Godzilla theme- souffle pancakes were a fun tasty treat, despite being pricey. Our room was well appointed- pyjamas, toothbrush, hairbrush, slippers, umbrellas, iron/steamer, safe, fridge etc. But no hand lotion, which was disappointing. Still Tokyo is all about shopping, so no harm done. Staff were lovely, and unobtrusive. 7-11 on site was great, insanely busy at all times. We used the laundry off the lobby, which was great. 30 minutes for wash- machine added detergent so no need to buy but the dryers took about 2 hours to dry to a slightly damp level for a small load."

Keio Presso Inn Shinjuku

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is under renovations (Sept 2026) so be aware there may be minor inconveniences, but the staff were great. None of the maintenance work interrupted my stay or caused a nuisance. The staff went out of their way to make special accommodations and minimize the impact. For the price this was an excellent stay and the breakfasts was quite enjoyable. I highly recommend the grilled chicken dish. Also very convenient location to Shinjuku station. They also have a very conveniently locker and baggage storage system so you can drop your bags before or after check in."

Mustard Hotel Shimokitazawa

Mustard Hotel Shimokitazawa

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is a gem. It's in an out-of-the way, cool neighborhood of Tokyo with a nice mix of tourists and locals but extremely accessible to the rest of the city by the unbelievable Tokyo metro system. My only complaint is that the double room we stayed in had little room to move around so suitcase management was an issue. There might be bigger rooms but ours was tight squeeze. Otherwise, highly recommended."
