"Comfortable accomodation for 2. We had plenty of room and the beds were comfortable (a little on the softer side). We could easily prepare breakfast in the morning with the small kitchen as well. The bus stop is very close by, as is a large 7-11. And we were also able to rent bikes for the day from this accomodation, which we really enjoyed! Check-in worked exactly as described. Recommended!"

"The room was clean and much bigger than we expected from the pictures. The location was great and the check-in and check out process was very easy.
We will definitely stay here again!"

"The apartment was clean and very accessible to local nightlife in Fukuoka. The checkin process was a little confusing but nothing horrible. Room was a little small for 5 people but the price was right so it made up for it. I would probably book again if a bigger place of comparable price wasn't available. "

"There was a washing machine but because in Japan everyone hang drys their clothes there is no dryer which is fine but there was no hangers to hang dry the clothes or laundry detergent. Previously at the other Grand Base we stayed in Fukuoka there was bars to hang clothes outside. "

"We enjoyed our stay. Hotel is clean and the location is superb. Literally outside Hakata station. Breakfast is good but need to change sometimes, the food is good but if you eat same breakfast everyday the whole time you stay you will get tired of eating the same kind of food. "
"The room was spacious and the location is at a very good spot. I was surrounded with malls, convenient store and the train station is just below.
The staff was very kind and friendly. They made the stay very pleasant and welcoming. "
"A low key modern Japanese style hotel with the perfect setup for a longer stay by those who prefer to be self sufficient travelers. The Japanese sized hotel rooms include a large combined washer/dryer unit for which the laundry detergent is provided for. They also come with a small fridge, a microwave, a small kitchen sink and kitchen counter. Additionally, a kitchen kit, consisting of an induction hotplate, a medium sized pot, a knife, a ladle, a cutting board and a scrubbing pad can be obtained from the front desk.
Most, if not all, of the department stores adjacent to the hotel have wonderful grocery stores in their basement level, with, as is typical in Japan, everything already beautifully packaged in small sizes appropriate for Japanese small kitchens as well as lots of fully prepared meals.
The hotel also offers a breakfast buffet in their ground floor restaurant, which, though with a smaller offering than that at some other hotels, still makes for a fine Japanese style breakfast with a rotating assortment of Japanese breakfast items.
Note that for the longer stays, the rooms are made up once weekly, with an included daily towel exchange service. For our culturally immersive travelling style, this hotel perfectly met our needs.

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Miyaki, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What can I see and do in Miyaki?
Explore the area and family-friendly sights such as Fukuoka Anpanman Children's Museum, or get out into nature at a spot like Yoshinogari Historical Park. Chiriku Hachiman-gu Shrine and Canal City Hakata are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What are holiday rentals like in Miyaki?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Miyaki. Holiday rentals offer extras such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about cleanliness, holiday rentals can provide a sense of safety away from public hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you to travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular option for small groups.
